| 1 1/2 | Cups sugar | 1 | Cup Crisco Oil |
| 1 | tsp. Salt | 1 | Cup Sweetened Drained Blackberries |
| 1 | tsp. Baking Power | 1 | Cup Buttermilk |
| 1 1/2 | tsp. Ginger | 1 | tsp. Vanilla |
| 1 | tsp. Soda | 1/2 | Cup Juice of Berries |
| 1 1/2 | tsp. Cinnamon | ||
| 1 1/2 | tsp. Cloves | ||
| 1 1/2 | tsp. Nutmeg | ||
| Combine all dry ingredients then add the other ingredients and mix with electric mixer for 3 minutes. Pour into greased and floured tube cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool and ice. | |||
